I've been waiting about twenty years for something like this [UPI] to happen.

I'm not sure how much traction that little bit of a story will get in the American mainstream media. I don't think it will be headlines on Fox News, but I could be wrong (I'm going to check that out, actually).

If you haven't clicked the link, it is a story on UPI about 6,000 Muslim clerics in a meeting in India, having endorsed an anti-terrorism fatwa. This comes 32 years after the Palestinian terrorists murdered the Israeli athletes in Munich. This comes 23 years after the bombing of the Marine barracks in Beirut. This comes after Somalia, the Twin Towers, and two long wars on Muslim soil.

It's encouraging, but is it a trend? And more curiously, is it because Barack Obama will be our next President?
